Here is another example of a little thing we do to hinder communication. We generally have a particular way in which we call attention to each other’s faults. Can you recognize yours as well as those who may be criticizing you? This is a good question for all the family members. The methods are generally different for each member of the family. Do you remember your mother’s facial expression when she was about to citicize you as a child? Ask your child to describe how your face looks today when you are finding fault with something he or she is doing.
