I became acquainted with Lane and his career coaching activities when I was in transition in early 2010. Lane was a volunteer at Peachtree Road United Methodist and offered a personality assessment and interview help as a service to job seekers. I took Lane’s assessment and I believe it helped me assess my skills and present them to my best advantage. His objective advice to help me hone how I present myself during interviews was invaluable.

It is truly a pleasure for me to write this recommendation for Lane. On March 1, 2010 Lane began to volunteer to work as part of the leadership team for our Career Ministry at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. He offered to help those who attended our meetings by using an assessment that he had used successfully for hiring company employees. He invested seven hours with each person at no charge and enabled them to identify 100 positive attributes that helped them to increase their self esteem and confidence. Then he focused on teaching them to exude their super-charged traits into the hiring interview. All of these individuals were hired within a few months after they had worked with Lane, which is a remarkable record in a down economy. Lane used this experience as the foundation of a group seminar he currently uses to teach salespersons how to quickly connect with prospects and improve their closing ratio to 9 out of 10 sales.

In April of 2010 when it was difficult to find a job, Lane Stokes offered to interview me as part of his volunteer work in the Career Ministry of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. The first step was a personality assessment that amazed me at the number of positive attributes he found of which i was not consciously aware. When added to the list he had asked me to compile, I felt my self-esteem and self-confidence boosted immediately. He then showed me how to exude my new self-confidence into hiring interviews. It was so easy that I really couldn’t see how it would help, but the results we were all getting in being hired within a couple of months or so was proof of the method’s effectiveness. I understand that Lane is now offering this method to individuals and sales companies in a seminar entitled EXUDING SELF-CONFIDENCE. I highly recommend this seminar to anyone who is looking for a job or wanting to be more successful in his or her existing job–especially in sales.

I no longer fear hearing a “No” on the telephone or in person when selling, thanks to Lane’s Assessment, seminars and coaching. When somebody says “no” or “I’m not interested” I go right on talking to establish a relationship with him or her. Moving from call to call without hesitation, stress or feeling personally rejected is easy now. Lane’s calm and direct approach has helped me discover and overcome barriers I have harbored in my personality for a long time without being aware of them. Lane spent a great deal of time with me to accomplish a number of things in order to discover my potential that would ultimately lead to employment. He did that by initially assessing my strengths and weaknesses, building a list of positive attributes for self-esteem building as well as teaching me to how to own those attributes. I was hired within 6 months of my sessions with Lane. His assistance was invaluable to me during my job search; one of the most positive people I’ve met in a very long time.
