You Never Listen to Me!

That’s right, you don’t because you don’t know how. Listening is a difficult skill to learn. That’s why none of us learn it growing up. Like, do you remember a parent pulling you aside in childhood and saying, “Now I’m going to teach you how to listen?” It didn’t happen because nobody taught them. You think that being still, looking at the other while he or she is speaking is listening. It is not.
