Think of Anxiety as a Force. For those with no coping skills it seems an irresistible force. You worry about something and you cannot stop the worrying. Even if you believe the worry to be irrational you have no way to stop worrying. Fear can be like anxiety in the same way, no way to stop feeling that fear due to the force of anxiety. In what ways are you controlled by the force of anxiety: insomnia, rumination, afraid of everything, both physical and mental health, finances, politics, tariffs, relationship, safety, work, retirement, giving up driving, your children driving, how long is your list? Everybody’s list is different.
